Arkansas Knife Show 2011-Show Us what you Got

Once again, my only regret in moving to the Northwest is being so far from some truly spectacular Knife Shows and blade makers... I will have to make a point of trying to get to the Arkansas show one of these years soon...
Thanks to all of you for sharing some truly amazing work for those of us who won't make it!!!

I was planning on going and taking pictures, but all this snow in NW Arkansas may stop me in my tracks.

We're gettin dumped on pretty good here in southern Missouri, but the roads will be cleared by Friday. And it's goin to warm up nicely for the weekend. So just plan on going :D

It looks like Charlie and I will not be able to make the show after all. Some family issues have come up and it is not a good time for us to be that far from home. The Little Rock show is one of our favorite shows from both sides of the table and we would not miss it if we didn't have to. I really wanted to see that hunter that Don showed.

Hope everybody has a great show and a safe trip both there and home.

And what a Bowie it is.
1095 carbon blade, walrus tusk, pure silver wire, 24k Horrigan M.S titanium spacers. 16 inches overall. Sole authorship.
John's made some outstanding Bowies and this has got to be amount the best imo.

Sorry to hear that, Charlie.

Ditto that. I was looking forward to seeing you guys again and checking out that cool push dagger.

That Horrigan bowie is outstanding - can't wait to see the entries for Best Bowie.

Cool Monster, Don.

Wow John! What an outstanding Bowie. I love the silver and ivory, and the spalsh of color in the spacers is subtle and tastefully done. Very very elegant. You're hitting home runs consistently, way to bring it.

Just saw the Newton knives, and felt like I should comment -- that feather Bowie is outstanding!

And Kyle, your blued fighter is gorgeous. I like the dark theme, well done.

I have to concur, that Newton bowie with the feather pattern damascus is outstanding.
The stag on that hunter is very nice.Getting harder to see good stag like this.
The" Monkey"dagger is very unique.Something very different from Ron Newton.
The Kyle Royer damascus bowie with the walrus ivory is another outstanding bowie.

Roger, this is the best piece of stag I've had in a while.

Jon, sometimes a butt cap is called for, but usually not. :)

Thanks guys!

I hope that is not MY piece of stag Hanson.

P

PS What is that piece of damascus doing on the butt of the knife????

This one is a camp cutlass with margarita green G-11 scales.

This one is one of my survival tin knives with red carbon fiber scales.
