I have decided, due to a week long cough (no fever) that I am going to stay away from work for at least a week or two.. what my company does (medical manufacturing) is not an "essential"... our products are used in elective surgeries. This goes against the grain for me, as I seldom miss work for anything, other than vacations.
But, at almost 66 yrs old, with a distant past history of a severe episode of pneumonia, I just don't want to take the risk of being in close contact with 80-90 people daily. I want to see how the "spread" progresses. If it doesn't spike in the next week or so, I will go back.
I could look at this as an early glimpse of what retirement will look like....
