ashbmsle in the house

Congrats! Its a beast! Thanks for sharing and I am sure you will enjoy it.
 
Yeah they're great. Feels as comfortable as my ash-1's Surprising for such a big blade.
 
Ok so here's a list of a couple knives for comparison. I used a new digital scale. It is interesting that this knife weighed less than My NMFSHLE even with a 1 1/2' longer blade. (I checked it twice) also, the bwm is only 2 ounces lighter even with the ashbmlse 5/16" thick.

nmfshle 27.35 oz
ashbmlse 25.75 oz my NMFBM blade only measured abt 1/4" longer (11 1/4 ish)
cgbwm 23.75 oz

Blade Width: 2”

Blade Thickness: 5/16”

Overall Length: 16-1/2”
This is what is posted by Jerry for battletrough 2013 and is (almost) exactly what my blades are.
Same width as my nmfshle.
NMFBM is Slightly over 2" the ashbmlse/nmfshle is Slightly under 2"
I'll post pics with tape measure In a little while.

To be clear his measurements are exact except for the width but even that is basically correct. I just know "a couple of you" go to the 32nds(I would never) :).
