ashbmsle in the house

The Choiless gives you 1/2" more cutting surface with less than 2oz. extra in weight. However the choiless has a g-10 handle so i'm not sure the difference in weight.

If I remember correctly, G10 is heavier than canvas micarta, so that would account for some of the weight difference.

Thank you for all of the great photos!

Cashmore, thanks. I can't remember but I will try to figure it out.

gk4ever2, that is correct. and glad you enjoy the pics!

Demonic1, I got the sheath when I picked up this beast. It actually works great for both. I love it when that happens :)

The sheath maker is Stewart Branson from Canada. Unfortunately though...he's not making sheaths anymore.

One swing on each side took out abt 1" out of this log. you can see it went a little deeper than what I took out.

I have ordered ASHBM LE few weeks ago (black paper, choil) and I did not know there is also "S" LE with swedge. And I love and need swedge... not going to stab anything, just feel better with better penetration equiped knife.

I was thinking to make a swedge on my ASHBM by myself, but probably not the best idea to make this kind of mod... what you think?
Maybe I can find someone for trade (LE for S LE) but I am from EU, not so easy with shipping...

There was a 1-300 release. I would have Busse do it. I would rather it be done the right way. I always say "It's better to pay a little more then expected than pay a little less then you should have"
No matter what version you have I think you'll be happy. They're great blades! :)

exactly :)

I also love fusion handle, but for this battle knife straight is the best IMO...

btw, the price of "S" version with the swedge was similar as LE?
