The 3.5 drop points are with a guy in Switzerland right now awaiting grinding on a CNC grinding machine... He's the only one willing to grind in small batches. If it works out I will be able to lower the price a little and also turn around more knives quicker while not compromising edge thickness. These were sent as a test so I'm awaiting him to grind them. They were supposed to be done already but apparently his machine (which is brand new) is having issues and tech support is dragging their feet. Such is life in the manufacturing world though. Josh- why are your knives so awesome? I used the hell out of my REK yesterday cutting up garden hoses and my buddy couldn’t get over how it cut like a jot knife thru butter. Afterwards….. a little bit of stropping and back to hair popping. Excellent.
