I'm sorry guys I keep meaning to get around to it... The blade grinds didn't work out with Roman's machine and he sent the blade blanks back in 2 packages. Long story short one package got lost with a bunch of the 3.5 drop points in it (tracking here, lost in customs apparently) so I only got about 10 of the 3.5 drop points. Thankfully I still have the 30+ sheepsfoot 3.5's. Anyway, as soon as I get these 10 spyderco reblade preorders done I'm planning on doing the embers next. Sorry it's taken so long!

The hits just keep on coming! Sorry you’re dealing with this Josh! I’ve basically stopped shipping overseas because of how many issues I’ve been having with it lately.

It’s pretty mind boggling how difficult it is to find a good machine shop for knives too! I’ve talked to a lot of companies, and the ones that are capable tend to be too backed up (or high priced) to take on the work. 😑

Sorry to see that you've had a setback. I'll patiently although eagerly await the 3.5 Embers. 🍻

Shipping is starting to get ridiculous. I have been keeping an eye on the situation here in Canada and have cancelled a shipment because I am not confident it will even arrive. It will be shipped at a later date or picked up in person. 😱

Currently all letter mail is not being accepted in Canada by any couriers. Fedex wanted to charge us $50 for a letter a couple weeks ago.

What is wrong with the world?!
 
I feel for you, Coleman. That's a bad situation you have to endure.

Here in my area, I've been waiting on average up to a week past the expected delivery date for packages from FedEx. They've not gotten back on track since "Helene"...and the holidays have only made it worse.

Doesn't compare to the pain you're experiencing in that regard, but things are awry in multiple locations.


ETA: I forgot we were already discussing this matter in this thread. As an update, supposedly I have two parcels from FedEx enroute at the moment.
