ATR ever again?

The Steel production run was VG10 I believe. HMMM..what is the super stainless on the Warrior fixed..is it XN-15..that would be great for the Ti version and a rustproof knife if the clip is Ti also.

I just scored a NIB stainless serrated model. While i.would've preferred plain edge I jumped at the opportunity. Being serrated I don't think it will see alot of hard use, but this was probably the #1 knife I wanted. I can't wait for it to arrive.
That's not to say I wouldn't be FIRST in line for a sprint run.. especially with a plain edge

Nice Bump! Gotta love speedholes in the handle! :D

Patiently awaiting news of possible Sprint ATR! I'll be happy to see it in just about any sort of combination or variation I'd imagine they could come up with.
Full flat grind Super Blue with Ti would blow my mind though (and probably my bank account)!

And for the complaints of the Cobra-hood, aren't they removable? I know the one on my Salsa is. So if a potential buyer did not like it or want to risk "Wave opening", it could be removed if preferred.

While I've recently become a solid Benchmade fan, the ATR has always been at the top if my list. I don't think anything would make me happier than an ATR sprint with titanium handles, premium steel and a plain edge. I doubt I'll be able to bring myself to use this one, but I'll definitely carry it... along with a smaller Benchmade user.
I hope Sal is still following this and working towards an ATR sprint. Even if I found an original setup the way I wanted, I couldn't bring myself to use it. My favorite configuration is a metal handle with a compression or Axis lock. It's the only thing that has kept a Skirmish out of my collection
