ATTENTION!!!Problem with Chenn resolved in GOOD Way!

As another member here said your reputation here is everything, and I will do anything I can for it to remain positive.
When I bought the knife from "mag1" i was told it was like new condition, I asked him about the screw he said it was changed because he like the way it looked or something and he woul send me the original screw from the previous owner.

If I were to have scam you I would have sent you an empty box.

Long story short, I have the sebenza being retured to me from the person I sold it to. As I explained to him the situation that has arisen. I have given him a full refund and am waiting for the knife to be returne to me so I can return it to Yankee 86 Aka roman.

I have done many trades with people and this is the first time a problem has occurred.

Roman can voucher that I has sent him a long email agreeing to make sure thing are made right.

Yup, that's the way to do it; a deal is never a deal until both parties are satisfied. It is always better to undo a deal ASAP than to drag things out.

Afterall, reputation is everything!!!

Please do not let this situation put a lable on me as a "scamer" as I am very honest person.
 
I didn't left any feedback for you yet, just because in the back of my mind, I think we will close this deal in peace.

Yes, I know this, now. But, you think honest person will tell you truth, before send youa junk.

Call me cynical, but while I always like to give someone the benefit of the doubt, I still like to verify - particularly high value items (over $100.00).

I know exactly how you feel. I bought a Buck Nighthawk off eBay for $55.00. Was described as new, but when it arrived someone (possibly the seller) had spray painted over the wear marks. Intially I was p&ssed off, but since I got it for a decent price and the knife was in reasonable excellent condition overall, I made a project of stripping off the rest of the finish and hand polishing the blade. The end result was a nice looking, not so expensive user.

This doesn't solve the problem of dealing with dishonest people (general statement here), but sometimes when the situatuon is outside your direct control, it's better to make the most of that situation.

I'm glad to see things here have the potential to end amicably, so I'll say no more. Good luck to both parties involved.
 
Great job Chenn on stepping up and fixing the problem. Alot of people would have just looked the other way but you gained alot of rep with me for making it right.
You never know what kind of situation might come up in a deal but its the final outcome and how you handle that situation thats important. Your good to go in my book.

I've never seen a Strider that came with 1 screw different from the others, and from teh ftory no less. I wonder if Josh from Strider can confirm how often this happens.
 
It sounds like this is being worked out, so that's good. For what it's worth, I just did a deal with Chenn and everything went smoothly and the item was actually in better condition than described. Hope it all gets settled to everyone's satisfaction.

It appears that Chenn is making this deal right, good on him. Maybe it's time to edit the title as it appears no one was scammed by Chenn.
 
Roman's sebenza has been sent back to him. I am waiting for him to ship my sng back.

Everything has been settled in a civil manner.

Case closed.
 
How cases become close? Everything sounds good, but I didn’t receive MY knife back.
Yes, I got tracking number, but ….many but. We will close case soon is we both satisfied , because we already has problem with to early close the deal – one of us sold knife before I even receive the trade. No rush this time.
