Attention Wharnzula giveaway participants. Follow the yellowbrick road.

That big sucker has an 1/8" thick blade. I'm testing a theory with that one.

Very nice brother!!!!!
the wharnzula looks like a wicked little edc.
Are you checking the esee-4 in 1/8 slicer theory BTW?

Oh no. That thing is much larger than a 4. My theory is that a thinner blade is better for a tac/fighting knife as it makes a better slicer, the idea being that a thinner blade would cut deeper than a fat blade for deeper lacerations. Also, that a thinner blade will be more than strong enough to handle rough woods chores like batonning and stuff. I think the blade is around 6" 1095 1/8" thick. It was just a fun idea I had to test out. Not really trying to prove any points or change any minds just yet. Just something I wanted to test out and see what I think. Truthfully, I'm not much into tactical or fighting knives. It was a "wild hair" kinda idea.

Awesome work. You have a great talent! That fighter is bad ass!!:foot::D

That is some nice work...didn't you just start doing this a little while ago? It sure doesn't look like it!

Ok guys. Get ready to do some serious drooling. :D

All finished up. Now unfortunately, I had a slight mis-hap with the blade on the wharnzula, so now it's a hawkbillzula. It still turned out awesome, but it's curved now. It happened so late in the finishing that I just said screw it and fixed it instead of making a new one. SO, if anyone just had their heart set on a wharncliffe and can't live with a slight curve, feel free to back out of the giveaway, no hard feelings. You'd be missing out on a wicked little knife though. Once it was done, I actually liked it a lot more than when it was a true wharnie. The other big bastard turned out awesome. The false edge isn't perfect, but this knife is awesome none the less. By the way, Gundude, go ahead and give it a name.
