August 2021 BOTM, 120 in D2, ironwood and brass

Everyone shown so far have looked fantastic. I passed on getting one myself. For those of you that did get one how is the blade centering, lockup, and blade wobble? Any problems?

Yes. It was meant to be a joke. Everyone is always talking about how the centering, lockup, and blade wobble is. Don't have to worry about any of that with a fixed blade do we?

Gotcha! I've posted in the wrong thread a time or two, so wasn't sure if it was a joke or just crossed wires.

Got mine Monday, and dang camera went on the fritz or i'd have pics. As others have said, knife is GORGEOUS, the ironwood is purty and the whole fit and finish of the knife is superb, balance is great, heavy in the handle but with the lack of fuller there's plenty of weight out front which makes it feel like it would be a heck of a chopper. Mrs. Texpat loves it, she's been messing with it more than I have. I think this knife is finally going to spur me to get to a project that's been on the backburner for a while, and that's building a display case for our nicer knives.

Makes me glad i have a standard General with the brass, cobolo, blood groove in 420hc. To the untrained eye it looks the same. I wish Buck would make some replacement sheaths for all their fixed blades in that distressed leather style.
Mine came with the burgundy sheath.
