I guess that makes the 124 Commander in ChiefA General is a commander of an army, in this case an army of 100 series fixed blades.
I did not buy the September 2019 BOTM 110 because I was not inspired by Buck's picture. Regretted it after seeing everyone else's pictures. I made sure to pick up the matching 112 the following January.typically the Buck picture is usually pretty nice example. not always. sometimes the real deals are better than the marketing picture.
the old under promise over deliver tactic. works everytime.I did not buy the September 2019 BOTM 110 because I was not inspired by Buck's picture. Regretted it after seeing everyone else's pictures. I made sure to pick up the matching 112 the following January.
A like what you are saying, but I think this version is a 5A General is a commander of an army, in this case an army of 100 series fixed blades. That's my guess. It feels like one. I'm still impressed with the size of this knife. And with Brass, the weight. This one is like a two star General.
I called Buck today, I asked "why the 120 General is called the General ?"Hi folks, this is my first post, and I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask this question: why is the Buck 120 called General? Does the name allude to a general purpose knife?
Thank you very much for your reply.
