August 2021 BOTM, 120 in D2, ironwood and brass

There's ALWAYS room for a S30V drop point 112 in my collection ! It's basically one of the rarest 112 blade's Buck has ever made..Damascus along with BG42 are at the top of the hard to find. A few have been made with S35VN including a drop point LE. Any DP 112 in ANY super steel is a winner in my opinion. I'm not too fond of pocket clips for a user but a Nickel silver bareheaded frame is one of my favorites. If it's a drop point I like it already.

To me pocket clips make it a user. An entire generation or two prefers pocket clips.
Love the standard 110 but sheath carry is harder to edc for me. Slim Pro versions have been a success.
I do like my Slim Pro and carry it often...like yesterday and today...

Yes the 110 slim pro is a great knife. However for the 110 size blade and for heavier tasks I prefer the standard size handle for a better grip when cutting tough materials.
I recently put a pocket clip and thumb stud on my 110 LTs , Smoke jumper, Shield and regular LT and I’m really liking them. At work I carry the Vantage Pro but outdoors and around the ranch I like the 110 size. The smoke jumper has been getting the most use so far.

I'm sure I'm the only one or one of the few, but the lt in cpm154, like the smoke jumper, with a pocket clip would be huge for me. guess I could make one...but factory clip would put that in my pocket often from the weight savings, low cost, to the advantage of a thicker handle for actual using

It’s kinda odd but it works great. Here’s the standard model I keep in my work pickup as backup. My smoke jumper is at the house but same setup. 364025BE-6445-4477-80C6-D88D07081C16.jpeg

Thanks jb, my son just got back from being on the road and picked up his three kids for a long weekend here so I’m feeling blessed for that. I’m picking up lunch to head out there and then to the big town to shop and get supplies. Have a great day jb !
