I know it is going to be today, but I also thought that yesterday : )Anyone think it will be today or are they going to go complete opposite from last month and wait until the bitter end?![]()
That's right...I had to go back and look at my 119...Darn but That's okWould have been a nice matching set if the 119 had been made without a fuller.
I don't know where this one is imported from, but Buck's sheaths imported from Mexico have served me well.Stinks the sheath is imported, but very nice looking knife. Trying to talk myself out of it...
yep. they seem to be better built than the American made ones I've used. i know this is unpopular, but sadly true for me. plus Mexico is still North America.I don't know where this one is imported from, but Buck's sheaths imported from Mexico have served me well.
My thoughts exactly ^ ^ ^ ^ Ironwood, who can resist. No fuller - cool, and I guess not usually offered. But the D2, I don't care for D2 as it seems to be on every low budget knife made currently. The ironwood (figures crossed) and the no fuller was worth the price of admission for me.the no fuller got me. didnt want d2. still don't. but no fuller won me over to match my no fullers I collect on 119s and 120s.
if only it had been in 5160, or something with some toughness, what a knife it would have been...oh well.....
Just to put it in the record books / chalk it up on the Big Board / win the kazoo for the month - I was right ! (someone is keeping score of these things ?)I know it is going to be today, but I also thought that yesterday : )
I expect the 120's longer blade will balance this one a little more to your liking.I will never buy another Buck 100 series knife with brass accoutrements.
The blades are too thin for such unduly heavy brass hilts and buttcaps.
The ones that I previously bought, which had brass, were just too butt heavy and very unbalanced.
They do look nice though.
Half have already sold out - currently 245 left. I have yet to receive the email notice. Has anyone received the Buck email (I have received the email for the previous months) ?I like it. Will be interesting to see how long these last...
