Derek, congrats. Can I borrow ten grand?

Just had a stellar camp dinner with Gus and Christine. Great food, smart conversation. Some imbibing and pipe tobacco afterwards. Gus has me thinking about bulldog pipes.
 
Tomorrow should be interesting. Either somebody's gonna be ticked about using their corporate logo w/o permission, or a lot of someone elses are gonna be ticked about BFC selling out.

Never was a big one for April Fool's pranks, myself. To quote the horse trader from True Grit (although in a different context)... I do not entertain hypotheticals. The world as it is, is vexing enough.
 
If it happens to be for real I wonder how many of the people who said they would leave BF for good will actually leave.

Good thing for me im a tech dummy and dont know what this even means or why everyone seems upset......

I've pulled some good ones. Spark seems to have gone all-out, although alas, the URL is still bladeforums.com. If I were a mod, I'd be tempted to pull some hijinks here, such as suggesting that Ka-bar is finally releasing the RBK, or doing a Becker custom shop or something, but last time I did something similar, I got SOOOO much hate mail from people who didn't click through the link...

Google is one of the epicenters of cyber conspiracy as it tracks your every online move and post. It is a tool used by the "man" to spy on everybody! "they" now know about all our obsessions with knives, guns and other fun stuff. We are the die-hard's that will fight back when the government comes to take over. Google will feed them the information to make them come for us first! run to the hills!

Possible... sure... going to happen in our lifetime... probably not. Great April Fools Joke
 
I woke up last night with my dog coughing up blood. She is only 7 years old, and had no known health problems. We rushed her to the emergency vet at about 2:45 a.m. She died shortly after we arrived--at 4:20 a.m.

X-rays show that her stomach "flipped," a lethal medical problem that can occur when a dog eats its food too fast.

It is an extremely sad time for us, as we experience the tragic loss of our sweet girl collie, Stella. Smoke and prayers would be very helpful.

Very sorry to hear that we lost our dog last fall and she was only 6.

You suck! I saw right through you! And don't scare me like that! I'm sad to say my lad "Lilac" is slowing down. We lost a black lad about three years ago. She was a great dog.
