Axe, Tomahawk & Hatchet Photo Thread

Well look what Santa left this morning....my father surprised me with 2 of my Grandfathers best hatchets from his collection. Winchester and a Marbles. Both are really old as far as I know...and the Marbles is in fantastic shape.







The Marbles has a date on it of 1898.
 
New baby arrived in the mail. My first Norlund.







Has a spot on the one side of the handle where I am guessing a sticker was ages and ages ago. I will probably clean the handle up a bit...but it's fairly beautiful as is.

Use:Log splitter, small parts for barbecue.

Processed a bunch of 5 inch rounds down with my longhunter. I am loving this thing!
 
I need to get some more photos later i think, but I'll throw out here what I have on hand :-)
