No problem. That's the only thing I didn't like it's to small. I forgot how long it's been since I sharpened it was it still sharp?
I know I said I had to stop for a little bit because I'm broke but I don't want to see this die. I have a surefire E1e executive elite up for grabs. Only request is you put something up to keep this going. It might take me a little to ship but I will get it to you.

NYOutdoors and Simple Man - hope you don't mind if i share your generosity with the thread. Items arrived today, and i don't really know what to say other than THANK YOU!!!
Simple Man offered to make 2 strops to pay forward, i was too slow to claim one. He generously made a third and sent it to me, giving of his time, money, and talent. I used it on my gayle bradley today and it is hair popping once again. Just amazing.
NYOutdoors, behind the scenes with no recognition, bought me my first Becker. Not only that, he also included a mora, and a kydex sheath! (when you said there would be a surprise in the mail, i had no idea it would be something like this). I know of several other situations like this where others are giving behind the scenes, this thread is truly inspiring. Thank you again guys, you put a huge smile on my face today

If you ever do manage to wear it down to the point needing to reload it, you can get some regular ole' Mineral Oil from the pharmacy, and Green Rouge from Lowes/HD with the grinders/buffers. Put a bit of oil on it, and rub the rouge in, it will almost "melt". I doubt you will have to reload it for years though.
I also have an old belt I use with MAAS metal polish on it, but most any will do. Mother's, Flitz, Simichrome, etc. I think MAAS has just a *bit* of grit though, not just chemical, works better for me.

Someone was giving out a Leatherman Wingman in the last thread. Did that ever get claimed? If not I'd love to have it. I've been meaning to get a Leatherman for my EDC. I like that the Wingman has the pocket clip.

Strops aren't hard or complicated to make at all. I do collect leather where I can (belts, flea markets and such) and use scrap wood for a firm base. Glue (contact cememt/wood glue) nail it down, bury the heads, and load it as I mentioned above. Progress!!!
