What's the mod?

I stripped the useless black coating off the blade and lock bar, and smoothed out the G10 under the clip as it was a pocket shredder. There is actually a fairly decent stone wash finish under the coating.

The coating does a good job of not reflecting sunlight in my eyes when I'm cutting things outside. However, the coating does a really bad job of staying on the blade.
I'm still kinda torn on whether or not I should strip mine...

Lol i used steel wool and elbow grease, took about 30 minutes total, was super easy
