This thread is making me consider picking up a RAT 1..... not cool.
I ought to play with one sometime (or even one of the budget Taiwan Spyderco's). It might suit some of my groomsmen next spring better than a BK14. Worldwood, I look forward to your thoughts on it after a bit of use and pocket time.

Is the Orange an Option Whet, or something special?
After recent responses I'm thinking of maybe chosing that and having it sent through Remmy before me.

Unfortunately, this W is going to spend a lot less time in here in 'prime time' (I'm not taking a curtsy from participation, but have gotten a new job*- the interview thingie I went to on thursday amidst all that RAT commotion) and will be getting up early which will decrease my presence here when a lot of you nice folks from US are around. (My shift starts in about 8 hrs, but have agreed with the bos I should tommorrow be fashionably late- about an hour or so).
* I've taken the position of CNC operator in another firm (been laid off from position of engineer/CNC programmer) but with added bonus my starting pay will be bigger than I was paid as an engineer providing programs for a machine working two shifts per day...
As for sales- they should go up... as well as Merkator K55Ks, &c- not everybody needs a Sebenza.

BTW I was being given a 'tour' of the shop when being interviewed, upon being led to raw stock area, my question was- "Got any D2?"
Congrats on your new job. Also, if your shop is anything like my shop, you probably have round logs of various tool steel.

Well, it's been 2 threads since I asked, but I will again and then I'll be done.
This is for any balisong flippers who may have moved on and don't want/need one of their old butterflies.
I have been flipping the same (broken) MTech Twist for a couple of years now, and honestly, it seems to be holding me back. The pivot is beyond adjustment (bad screws) and the tip has broken off. I had a spare, but I lost it, and even if it was found, I wouldn't want to continue with it due to their weight. So, if any of you balisong flippers out there has a flipper that's lighter/better quality that you'd be willing to pass along, I'm up for almost anything as long as it isn't all steel construction like mine. Thanks fellas.

Maybe.. we're basment based operation- trheree CNC mills, frinder and a 'old skool' lather, but we have in house anodizing, which should help if I'll be able to get an odd-job on the side.
But I've been told I may get a bit of work for gun industry (the company that sold their LEO approved design to Springfield Armory- I think the model is XD or something).
