Alright guys. My BK9 will be here tomorrow and I know I"m replacing the grivory scales. I'm most likely going with some tommythewho scales, hes a local guy to me. Sells all his stuff on ebay. Help me decided which scales to get and I will give away one the small gerber machete that Jim gave to me. Here are the options:

Try Ipe. One of the hardest woods on the Janka scale.Simple Bocote, he does an excellent job too! Bocote is one of my favorite woods ever.
