So your saying that we need to talk the Beckers up more....

Oh, no! Not Beckers, not much of a fixed blade guy myself but they do look nice. Might have to try one of them sometime soon.

Worldwood, your not helping my will power at all. Nice pics btw.

Excuse me while I try to get more overtime at work. :)

Hey WorldWood. I'm really likeing the looks of this one. Is that duracoated or what. That thing is sweeeet!

Hey all,

Just wanted to update you all that I have the Winchester Multitool/Folding knife combo up for grabs still. Like I said, not the best out there, but great to throw in your car/bag for that time when you really do need it.

Also, I told in the last thread the story of how I pawned some of my belongings to get the funds to buy one of my friends who is a US Army infantryman an Emerson CQC 7b (inspired by Allen R's giveaway, thanks bro). It is on its way right now. Since then, my pay it forward bug has kind of been inspired to help not only you great people here on BF, but our servicemembers who are currently serving overseas. I've identified Cold Steel folders as a GREAT hard use folder for military servicemen and women. Not only do many people recommend them for their great toughness and amazing locks, but I've also been able to contact past/present servicemembers and ask them about Cold Steel. They say that generally, military with Cold Steel folders were very happy with them because of the solid lockup and ability to beat on them indefinitely. This is huge because as I've been told, fixed blades can be regulated heavily, meaning they have to take what they are issued in some cases. That's why they like to choose folders that are good quality, AFFORDABLE, and get the job done. So, if anyone is interested, I'm looking to acquire and send off Cold Steel folders to two of my other friends currently serving overseas. With my latest purchases of the Emerson and other purchases I have made through the PIF threads, I don't really have the funds to buy two more. Used or new knives are fine of course. No pressure...I will buy and send off 2 folders eventually when my finances recover if I don't get any bites. Really, I know times are tough so no pressure guys. Just throwing it out there, it really feels good to "pay forward" to servicemembers because you know the knife is going to be used well in the efforts of defending our freedom. Thanks for reading guys.

Yes it was modified, dual jimping added and duracoted by K9_handler last year.

It was my first Becker knife, I loved it but wanted it to be different than everyone elses and really just wanted to make it cooler looking LMAO, so i asked K9 to add some jimping, then decided I wanted dual jimping. Then I had him media blast and duracoat the knife and coat the sheath in camo duracoat. It has since been sold and now resides in another beckerheads possession. But That knife is famous LMAO, you cant buy a BK11 on amazon without seeing it, you cant google image BK11 without running into it, its everywhere LOL so while I no longer own it, it still brings me joy.

Just wanted to let everyone know that it will be a little while before I can put anything else up. Between shipping and buying the cryo 2 for 155440 my play fund is tapped.

This is my favorite knife ever! I need to find something just a tad smaller but in D2 or better.

Something like this or a tad smaller is what I was looking for as an EDC fixed blade. What would be a good choice in something a "tad" smaller ?

And WorldWood. Even if you don't own it any more that is a great looking knife.

Izula I or II would be a "tad" smaller. Very popular EDC fixed blade.

I noticed that in the previous thread, very generous of you!

I like 52100 better than D2, by quite a bit.

Id suggest the swamp rat rodent 3, similar name, just a little smaller in size, excellent steel that holds its edge like no other.

You can get fancy with it too and order it however you want it.

here is one i used to have

But id suggest the knife right under that shiny R3 one, the rodent solution. best handle on a small knife i have yet to experience

I think I really like the looks of that top Swamp Rat Rodent 3 that looks like that's the ticket & direction I may go in. I looked at the Iz II but thought it was just a little smaller than what I was wanting. Thanks for the suggestions guys. I think I'll be in the market for a Swamp Rat Rodent 3. Thanks WW

Alright guys. My BK9 will be here tomorrow and I know I"m replacing the grivory scales. I'm most likely going with some tommythewho scales, hes a local guy to me. Sells all his stuff on ebay. Help me decided which scales to get and I will give away one the small gerber machete that Jim gave to me. Here are the options:
