I just traded a few high-end knives for some not-so-high-end knives. There was nothing wrong with the more expensive knives, but as you can see, you can get about 5-6 good knives for one great knife.

Ive got a CRKT Stubby Folding Razel up for grabs, its been used for work so its scratched up and the leading point is rounded down.

You're welcome. FYI, you're doing it right. And another FYI, you're not missing out on anything with the Hudson Bay. It's a big clunker that's not good for much in my book. Yeah, it's fairly inexpensive, but for a few shekels more, you could invest in a nice Becker.

I have been looking at the mora robust. Anyone have any experience?

It is, shall we say...robust? IMO it's way too thick for a Mora. Just doesn't seem right. I have a Bushcraft Force, and an All Around, and the thickness on those is just right for heavier use. The Robust seems like Mora of Sweden's effort to jump on the bandwagon of super thick survival knives that are popular in the US right now. But hey, for the price, give it a whirl, whaddaya got to lose right?

Hmm...to be honest i just wanted to try the blade profile and such. Maybe ill just get a bk9 and be done with it though.
