B F Wilderness & Survival Patch order

I would like to add to my order. I really am finished now.

I will take 5 of the guy on a spit patches in addition to the other patches I already ordered.

Thanks for doing all of this.

I'll take another 2 of the design #4 and another Guy on a Spit. As it stands that should bring it up to 3-colour #1 - 2 patches / Design #4 - 4 patches / Guy on a Spit - 2 patches. No more changes, I promise.

I'd planned to sign up for a credit card-based paypal account (US dollar transactions rack up the service charges on my bank account, but the credit card handles them easily enough), but if that puts you over the limit or otherwise doesn't work for you, I can send a money order. I can even pay it in Canadian dollars if you'd prefer. :) It sure feels good to be on the other side of the currency jokes for a change.

Change made.

Sorry about the "3-Color #1 – 6 patches", that was a typo in the order summary. I had you in the order spreadsheet for 2 patches. Any way, change made.

Yes you can. Yours is the final addition to be considered for Final Prices.

Final Prices

This is it. We needed a cut off date, and here it is. You may still add to your order while I receive payments, but that will not affect prices. Any new orders that come will pay the prices quoted here.

If extra patches are available, they will be given out as extra patches according the sequence in which the orders were posted. In other words, extra patches will be gives from the first posted order for that patch down until no patches are left.

Design # 4 = $1.66/patch
(30 orders totaling 92 patches. At this price there will be no extra patches.)

Modified Design # 2 = $3.83/patch
(15 orders totaling 33 patches. At this price ONLY THE FIST FEW orders posted MAY receive 1 extra patch depending on any additional/new orders that may come in.)

3-Color Design # 1= $1.35
(47 orders totaling 148 patches. At this price MOST if not ALL orders MAY receive 1 extra patch depending on any additional/new orders that may come in.)

3-Color Design # 2 = $5.74
(6 orders totaling 12 patches, plus 10 additional patches (see Free Patches for Those Responsible for the Project). At this price ALL orders MAY receive 1 extra patch depending on additional/new orders that may come in.)

Guy on Split = $4.99
(12 orders totaling 31 patches. At this price ONLY THE FIST FEW orders posted MAY receive 1 extra patch depending on any additional/new orders that may come in.)

Shipping.
There are two different shipping charges. One will pay for the shipping from the supplier to Thomas Linton and I (Supplier Shipping). The other will pay for the shipping of the individual orders from Tom and me to the rest of you (Individual Shipping).

Counting on 63 individual orders, Supplier Shipping will be 0.42 cents per order (not per patch).

Individual shipping will depend on the number of patches per orders (more patches = more weight = larger envelope and more postage). The following shipping charges apply only to orders going to the continental US and they are for First Class mail. Since I don’t have the patches to get an exact postage price, I’m rounding the weight to the next ounce; so I could be off by .17 cents. You are paying only for the postage and padded envelope. I’m not adding any “shipping charge”. If you prefer Priority Mail, the USPS charges a flat fee of $4.60. Please specify with your payment if you are paying for First Class Mail or Priority Mail.

Orders for 1 patch to 6 patches are small enough that can be mailed in regular letter size envelopes to minimize price, although I would prefer padded envelopes to eliminate the possibility of scratched or pierced patches. So I leave it to you. You can choose shipping in a regular letter size envelope or a padded envelope. Please specify your choice with payment.

PayPal Payments
In order for your PayPal payment to be free of fees, you need to do a PayPal Instant Transfer. The following is taken from PayPal.

What is Instant Transfer?
An Instant Transfer is an automatic withdrawal of funds from your bank account to cover the cost of a purchase using PayPal when there are insufficient funds in your PayPal balance. You must add a backup funding source, such as a credit or debit card, or a separate confirmed bank account, to use Instant Transfer. You must select a backup funding source for each payment prior to submitting the payment. The funds from an Instant Transfer are instantly credited to the recipient's PayPal account

Note: PayPal members from Australia and the European Union cannot use a U.S. bank account for Instant Transfer.

How do I send an Instant Transfer?
Select Instant Transfer as your payment method. You must select a backup funding source in the event your Instant Transfer fails.

Note: PayPal members from Australia and the European Union cannot send an Instant Transfer from a U.S. bank account.

To send an Instant Transfer payment, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Send Money tab.
3. Fill out the Send Money form with the required information.
4. Click Continue.
5. Click the More Funding Options link.
6. Select the Instant Transfer radio button.
7. Click Continue.
8. Review the information and click Send Money to complete your transaction.

PayPal Payments with Credit Cards
Domestic (US) PayPal payments funded with a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Check Card will have to pay the PayPal fees of 5.5% of the total including shipping (multiply the total payment by 0.055 and add the result to the total) plus 0.30 cents.

International payments funded with a Credit Card, Debit Card, or Check Card will have to pay the PayPal fees of 6.5% of the total including shipping (multiply the total payment by 0.065 and add the result to the total) plus 0.30 cents.

Domestic PayPal fees are actually 4.9% of the payment (originally the fee was 2.9 but PayPal has recently change it for personal accounts) + 0.30. Since the fees are calculated from the payment total, for you payment to actually cover the fees it generates, you would have to calculate it at about 5.5% of the payment + 0.30. (In other words, if you add 4.9% + 0.30 to the payment, the actual fees would be calculated from the higher payment total, meaning that the fees charged by PayPal would be greater than the amount you added to the payment.)

International transactions must pay 5.9% (which includes cross-border fees and currency exchange fees) plus 0.30 cents to which you need to add .06% (6.5% total) in order to cover all whole charge your payment generates.

My Account can only handle 5 Credit Card transactions. Any attempt over the first 5 to pay with a Credit Card will be denied. This is beyond my control. Up to now, six orders have mentioned paying the fees for a PayPal Credit Card payment, and have not mentioned that option or sending a check or Money Order. These are:

Jaiofspam
Eastr77
southern bigfoot (Australia)
Myal (Australia)
Pastknives (Slovenia)
Kodiak Bear (Switzerland)

There may be more orders that want to pay with a Credit Card, but haven’t posted about it. Credit Card Payments will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis; this is beyond my control. If your payment is denied, consider adding your Bank Account to fund only this payment and remove it afterwards. If that is not feasible for you, you will have to send a check or Money order.

So, let me suggest (and these are just suggestions) that you make a Credit Card PayPal payment ONLY if you are unable to make your payment any other way.

Further more let me suggest that we let our fellow international Knifenuts (especially those from Australia and the European Union) have first use of this form of payment. The reason for this suggestion is that their check or money order will take longer to get here, delaying the ordering process. Please, those who pay using a credit card, post it in this thread so others can keep track of how many payment slots are left.

Free patches for those responsible for the project
Please add some extra to your payment to cover free patches for Spark (we are playing in his pond), Rescue Reilly (he came up with the idea), Darklight943 (he design our patches), Thomas Linton (He’s helping me to do the Individual Mailing), and me.

We need $173.74 to cover the free patches. That translates to $3.22 per order. I’ll send Spark 4 of each patch and the rest who cooperated get their order plus 2 of each of the other patches (I think they deserve them).

I do not intend to personally benefit from this or keep any of the money for myself. That been said, I would like to give my children nices gifts for Christmas, which will be a little difficult this year. So, if after covering all expenses there is any money left, and unless anybody objects, it will go to my children’s Christmas gifts from their friends at BF.
