Back by Popular Demand... What folder do you guys carry?

One of my buddies has one and really likes his, it's a great piece, very ergonomic.

It's surprisingly accurate and ergonomic for its size; I'm sure you've fired one before.

My sig shoots better, but I won't carry that thing. So it's like that camera analogy; the best one is the one that you have with you.

Spyderco Military Sprint in CF and 51200 - just received this from KC after waiting more than 6 months for it.

Quality blades all, Don. That military should make a great user. Can you pick a favorite among the SpyderCos?

That Military is my favorite currently. Not just because I just received it [emoji12]. It has a number of CQI on it. IMO the stepped stop pin is the most beneficial change. It works like the CRK lanyard pin so you don't need to secure it via screws. Without those stop pin screws, only the pivot screw is applying pressure to the area around the pivot. This allows the blade to move more freely. The blade drop freely once I disengaged the lock out the box. There is zero blade play.

I had to loosen the pivot screw on my PM2 in order to let the blade drop freely when the lock is disengaged. This is at the cost of the some blade play. Hence, I am very impressed with this design change.

I hadn't realized there was a change with the millie, I should have looked closer. Is there any talk that the PM2 will get the same design change?

They also enlarged the lanyard hole and the torx screws. I have a regular black/S30V Millie and really like it. Picked up an ffg endura4 and that joker is like a laser beam. I liked it so much that I started looking at more spydies. The money I was saving for a 4.1 second got spent on a Ti Millie. I think I am going to take both of my militaries apart and make two franken Millie's with one Ti scale and one black G10. Of course one would be a liner lock and the other a frame lock, or as Spyderco correctly calls it, a Reeve Integral Lock.

I m not too sure but I hope so. I love the PM2 too. It will be awesome if they do that.

KW have something you want soon but it's in CF. It is in S90V. Go check it out.

Last I heard was that Spyderco was going to a smaller version of the PM2 and maybe call it the Minuteman.
I'm really hoping it actually happens because even though I love the PM2, I think a smaller version would sell like hot cakes.
I still prefer the Para 1 because of the shorter handle length.

Don

Im already on the "notify" list!

I want someone to do a millie in CPM3V with G10 and Titanium or peel ply CF like on the southern grind bad monkey. I always regret not buying the CPM M4 G10/Ti military. That came out and was gone before I ever handled a military. Its probably the hardest sprint to find

Yeah I likes that gun. I used to carry a G22 (.40) but the .45 is much more pleasurable to shoot. When you burn up a 1000 round case of ammo in a training day a .40 will beat you up. The .45 has a bigger but softer recoil.

10mm is a thumper!!

I really like Sigs. Im surprised your are allowed to have that in Cali. I thought all guns in California had to shoot rainbows and glitter!

Just kidding! When I first started my career I carried a SigPro.

I had to photoshop the rainbow and glitter out to make it a worth while pic to post. :)

A little OT info about our state; one of the most vocal state congressmen lobbying for crazy, restrictive gun laws was busted for being part of illegal gun trafficking. {what?!} He was found guilty and suspended from state government, but is still getting his state salary because Congress said they can't stop it. {double what?!}

Anyways.... Nice endura. Those and delicas are excellent slicers. I'm a big fan of spyderco also; love their performance driven designs.

Edit:
Here's an old pic of a couple of my favorites.

I've got a pile of Zt's.. 0801BW, 0808, 05562CF, 0550, 0095BW, something I lost in the couch and can't remember...0452cf? I think they're amazing for what they're designed for but I don't think I want to make anyone pee themselves when I pull my pocket knife out. I want to dork out my Ritter Grip with some DOAT textured micarta scales and buy a BHK Tree Frog. Other than that I really think I want to just have a solid whittler in my pocket and my Flexcut Carvin' Jack is the shit. I want to keep my Rexford ZT's and buy the 0804 but I hope I stick to my guns and get rid of all of them. Those Tree Frogs don't come cheap.

I still think the hardest thing I ever sold was a large CRK Insingno. It was easier because I'm a southpaw but it still felt like I was letting a piece of art go to a heather. Totally stupid because the guy I sold it to will take way better care of it than I ever would.

ETA- I was letting a piece of art go to a heather. Was supposed to be a heathen.. but it's funny as hell to me. Heathen!
