Back by Popular Demand... What folder do you guys carry?

I've had 4 different Manix 2's and only one opened easily. The 2 Griptilian's both flew open without any issue. I hate to say it but I still prefer the Spydie's only because they felt more solid. I'm betting those aftermarket scales on that Benchmade push it over the top though. The stock scales on those things always felt cheap to me.

I've never used a manix, this grip felt very cheap with stock scales. It is now Fantastic, with m390 steel.

Mine was smooth right out the box. After I put the back spacer in I had to work it a little but its back to flipper status now.

+1 on the manix. This is the smoothest knife I own.

Love my Manix 2 and para 2. I love the Manix for the heft love the para for how skinny it is in pocket. Both are excellent folders.

I started carrying an older Case Stockman everyday and it's working out well. It had to be the dullest unused knife I've ever owned though.

You know how to tell the year it was built?

The case brand name on the blade will tell you. Each logo pattern, X and ° mean something. Check it out if you haven't before.

Did someone say Manix 2 Cruwear Sprint? This is one of my favorites and a knife I will never sell.

Had grips and spydies and zt's and even a Hinderer. The only one that stayed is my Starbenza 25. I really LOVED my large Sebenza 21 also but someone made me a ridiculous offer on it and I couldn't turn it down. If anyone wants to buy a sprint S35VN PM2 let me know :)

What was wrong with the hindererhindered, I keep looking at the xm18 3.5 Skinner

It wasn't a Sebenza..

Lol it was cool. I'll likely pickup a 3.5" slicer one day. The spanto was cool for the tactical folder but it was a thick blade for how tall it was. Bombproof for sure but for a folder I prefer cutting efficiency mixed with toughness. I can get a better slicing knife than my CRK in a Spyderco but they're not nearly as tough.

All these Manix photos are killing me. They're still one of my all time favorite ambidextrous knives. Here's the one that I miss the most.

The lock spring tension was perfect on it out of the box.
