Huntingseason 2017/18 is over and ive found my way back to this great forum. Just went through all the Beckers and stropped em all.. Some have just been carried alot when hunting but a few have been used hard.

The BK5 have butchered 5 wildboar, a deer and sliced various kinds of food in the kitchen as well as meaty stuff by the campfire.
Its a supercompetent blade for such use!

The BK2 and BK16 have skinned alot of game... Moose, hogs and deer.
BK16 beats the BK2 at doing that but not by a huge margin. Add firewoodprocessing(after hunt camp) to the ecvation and the BK2 is my choise.

Well, hunting put aside.. Its now time to "hoard" some more Beckers.
As some of you know i just luv .250inch thick blades so a BK20 would be nice. Have seen several for sale on this forum but ive always been to late... Until last week when i finaly found one and now the wait for it has begun.

Tried my google-fu searchin for a BK15 and actually found a store that have'em in stock(they have bk17 also) ! Just ordered :-)
This may be the ultimate smaller gameprocessing knife and i can barely wait for this one..

The Beckerbug have me in its grip..

Welcome back brudda, good to see you around again. Good to see you're still using those blades. Some nice kills there also.

Thanks, glad to be here.

Hope this darned winter turns to spring soon. We have had some crazy temperatureswings the last month. Shifts between 0°c to - 20c from day to day and still have approx 1foot of snow on the ground.

Welcome back. Mind sharing where you found a BK 15 and 17 in stock? I've been looking with no luck.

Nice kills, Danny K. Tell us about your rifle set-up.

The rifle in pics above is a Blaser R8x, barrel is chambered in 6,5x55 Swedish, scope is a Zeiss Varipoint 2,5-10x50, red dot sight is an Aimpont H2 2moa and the silencer is a Vallrud Vmak4(telescopic, builds 4 inches back and forward from the muzzle).
Truly a high end gun(even though mine is the cheapest in the Blaser lineup). Shoots great, scopemounts are great and the trigger is great.

I wish it was from ONE huntingtrip
Usually the dogs and i get invited to hunt 2 times per week during season.
We dont have any publik huntingareas in my part of Sweden... Only leases. The cost for a lease in this part of the country is 10-20$/hektar.
Im not made of money so i cant afford to many leases.

Just take and post lots of pictures. We can't tell the difference. And I hope you took some time to complete my adoption papers:D
