My Becker illness is getting worse...
Found an unrecistable hard to find Camillus Becker knife right here in the EU.
Just had to have it and the prize was right so..

New blade (bought used) for me.
First impressions, smaller than expected, solid feel and so COOL

Better backdrop.

Tried some chopping but the edge wasnt to great... Dull as a karatechop and crazy edge-angle made it very "bouncy".
More actionshots later when ive sharpened this Brute up properly

Same with my Cam Machax. Horrible edge and bad blade geometry. Even after I convexed the edge it still chopped lumber like it was a trampoline!!!!

The dude i bought the Brute from have offered me to liberate two other "Cam's" from him and i just might grab one of em some day. One is a Machax and the other a Patrol Machete.
After reading your post i'll most likely grab a Ka-bar Machax at some point instead of a Cam.
The Patrol Machete on the other hand... Dont know what i'd use it for though
