Back to Empire!

There will be many folk drooling over that display Charlie. Fantastic to say the least!!

Be still my heart....

This Empire collection is the stuff of dreams. Is it too late to be included in your will?

Holy Mega Empire Dittos!!!! You're not the man, or even The Man. You're the Shaw of Schrade AND the Earl of Empire. VERY impressive collection.

Charlie, Beautiful display. If I'm not mistaken I think I see the cigar cutter pen knife in the lower left corner with the "trick opener" pop up cigar cutter blade. A true rarity. Thanks for sharing, Barry

Hi waynorth -

That is really outstanding!

I would love to see that in person.

How do you keep the knives in place on the backing?

Thanks for the picture - that is really something!

best regards -

Yes, that's it! I apologize for the lousy pic guys, but I'll try for better ones when I get a chance.
Did I get that from you, Barry?? I honestly can't remember where it came from!
If I did, thanks!
Getting old is not for the faint of heart!

mqqn, they are wired on - you'll have to "squint" to see it ;-) !

Fantastic display Charlie, I'd say you'll be in the running for "Best Display" with that beauty!!!!!!

Eric

I appreciate all the wonderful comments! Thanks gents and folksies!
It is just a taste of what the Oregon show can present you with!
The very large showroom is completely ringed with displays!!
I hope this display helps some of you decide to come!
I have found some of my very best knives at that show!!!

Verrrrry cool-great job!:thumbup::thumbup:

What Kerry said. Talk about a labor of love. That's amazing, Charlie.

Absolutely stunning! I'm at a loss for words. That is more impressive to me than the Rogers Exhibition knife, because you have so many individual knives necessary for the overall display. Congratulations on the accomplishment, and I hope to be able to see it in person someday.

What a collection Charlie. The display is awesome. Is that dog leg jack is the one under the letter 58 in 1858? Who made it?

Charlie, there's nothing else I can add to what everyone else has said other than thanks for posting this for all to see!

Thats a nice display Charlie. I need to come over to the valley to see my grandmother soon, maybe I can work it out to come the same time as the show.

Its always a great show...

Work of Art and Scholarship there:thumbup::thumbup:Particularly like the reference to the old knife advert.

Mind you, oiling the joints on all that lot is not for the faint-hearted:D:D
