Back to Empire!

That is a fantastic collection and display Charlie... definitely one for the ages. Thanks very much for sharing it with us.

Charlie,

You posted the "before" display some time ago, and I was amazed with the hard work and dedication that must have gone into compiling all those examples.

It looks even better now!

Thanks for sharing it with us.

A much belated update, provoked by a member here browsing the archives.
I'm proud to say, I did win an award last April. Of 30 - 40 displays, 12 won awards, and I came in 7th if I recall. The trophy was a custom knife by Al Warren, a drop point hunter with a sheath.
The quality of displays at Oregon is mindboggling. One was a replica of a Remington store display - huge - with mint, etched knives in boxes - riveting!!
If you love blades, you owe it to yourself to attend Oregon at least once in your lifetime!
I won't display my Empires again until next year, but there are many quality displays waiting to jump on the scarce tables!
I'll be at my usual table this year, number U-2 (think old spy planes)! Stop by and say Howdy! First six BFers win a free knife!!

In my best Daffy Duck voice "well if can't do any better then that" wow! Did I mention WOW:eek:! Some display and knife collection! Oh man I had brain farted and forgot I commented on this! Well that's what it gets for coming back!

It's a 39 hour drive or a 55 hour train run, or you bet I'd be there. Love a good show, and since Wolverine shrank, I've been looking.

Charlie, That might be one of the coolest things
I've ever seen! Truely amazing! The attention to
detail is on another level! I just don't have the
words? Thanks for sharing!!
