Shity Chinese tools. My mom sold 3 tons of hand tools (Swedish, German and British) in one batch when her father died. No further comments.

Looking good! Be sure to radius those inside corners a bit before you heat treat, nothing worse than a cracked blade after all that work! I like your solution for a bevel guide.

Everyone should show the sink picture to their wives and say...see honey this is how bad it could be, thank your lucky stars I keep all my mess out in the garage!!

When I was 19 I cleaned a set of valve covers from a chevy pickup in the kitchen sink...I was afraid to sleep in my own bed that night, I thought for sure my wife was going to kill me in my sleep ;0)

Watching you make an entire knife with hand tools is making me tired, think I might need a nap....sweet knife

That sink I bet tops all stupid stuff us husbands have done! My big mistake was running a VW engine case through the dishwasher! Next time I'm just gonna pay a shop to steam it in a cabinet, all the teeth marks in my back side were not worth the time and money I saved on that one!

The fact you did the bulk of this with hand tools is what impresses me. Its a good reminder of what a little motivation can do.

@RDog

Cleaned up the scandi-grind and put the finale bevel on there whit a 120/400 wet stone (high quality but only 12$). Its 99% hand tooled.

The edge is now down to 0,1mm (finger tips down to -2mm) and i will just have to put a secondary semi-micro bevel on it.
