The lazy ole Neches river bottoms. Mostly swamps in this area but a nice place to get away.

Taken at dusk last night on my way to a good friend of mines.

A couple of his pigs. He has about 20 or so and too many rabbits and chickens to count.

These last few are actually in my back yard literally.

I miss living right on the water. That looks like a real nice place TT. Good for you bud.

You are a lucky guy TT! I'd love to have a backyard like that. I doubt I wouldn't go inside till 11 at night.

My favorite time out here is at 11pm. I love going out walking by the moon light. Beautiful skyline at night and usually pretty bright. We don't got too many lights on at night in the sticks.

We're having a camp out tonight with the family. But it won't be in the back yard, it'll be the front lol.

You're a lucky guy!
I'm aiming to get out of California before I turn 40. My goal is to be in either Prescott AZ or possibly back in Colorado. I'm not made for this desert heat and I'm not a big fan of people in general!

Not made for the heat but talking about AZ.

Dang I guess it's hot everywhere. 103 here today and smoke about to choke us out from the fires. They're everywhere.

Well I guess I can't complain much since I'm not the only one dealing with heat! At least it's only 20% humidity out here.

My neighbors house. A very large Red tail hawk. I know you can't see her in the nest but she's up there.

My son inspecting the house for the night.

Hope its up to his standards.

My fire and fish kit. I'm short on my paracord pieces I made a few lures to fish with.

My cooking supplies.

Love this little alcohol stove.

Be sure you pick up after your selves and remember..." don't mess with Texas"

Good old fashion quality time. It doesn't get much better than that!

Nice kits! I need to get off my butt and get a fishing kit made. Is that a homemade stove?

The black and white floss container has about 25 foot or so of spider wire mono 4-5 weights and hooks.

And yes I made it from an old axe can.

I'll post some of one of my other fishing kits. Its easy and cheap. Handy to have in a pinch.
