Let me start by saying that I've done many deals (approximately 5 or 6) with Graham, and most have gone very smoothly. I started to notice that with each trade, the knife would take longer to arrive. The trade I recently did with Graham was on the 18th of May. I sent him a Jeff Hall Bounty Hunter in exchange for a Benchmade 710, Emerson Mini A100, Ontario RC-3, and a Fallkniven F1.

I sent out the Hall the 20th or the 21st of May and he received it on the 23rd of May. At this point, Graham had still not shipped his side of the trade to me. After 8 days, the knives arrived on the 29th. Problem is, the Fallkniven F1 was missing. Graham had graciously added a BRKT Woodsman to the deal because it had taken him so long to ship the knives, but this did not make up for the fact that he had forgotten to include the F1.

On the 30th, Graham said he would ship out the F1 asap. Then I got a message on the 7th of June that said he was in Finland and forgot to send the F1 (after I had messaged him asking about it) and would be sending it out when he got back (not sure of the date). I went on vacation from the 13th to the 20th, and when I arrived back on Saturday night (20th), there was still no knife. I messaged Graham, emailed him, and put a visitor message on his page to contact me asap. On the 22nd, I sent Graham the following message and this is the conversation that followed:

ME:
Don't be like this dude. You owe me a Fallkniven F1, you should own up. Is there a problem? Do you still have the F1? If not, we can work something out, just don't completely ignore this. I can't imagine that you're not getting my messages since I've hit you up on Youtube with a message and Bladeforums with a visitor message.

Graham:
Hey =/, I would like to apologize, i should have sent it when we realized i had forgotten it. I would never want to rip you off, i've just been very busy and i am going through a tough time, but that is NO excuse. I have YOUR fallkniven F1 all boxed up and ready to be shipped. I am working a half day tomorrow and you have my word that it will go out tomorrow with overnight delivery, insurance, and delivery confirmation. Once again i would like to offer my fullest and most sincere apologies Cole. Hope you like your knives you got earlier

ME:
I'm not upset at the lack of knife my friend, just the lack of communication. I hope everything is alright. Don't worry about the overnight, no reason for that.

I'll let you know when it arrives :)

JUNE 27th

ME:
Did you get a chance to get that F1 in the mail bro?

JULY 1st
ME:
Alright Graham. I am going to need a tracking number by Thursday, July 2nd, at 6pm. If I don't receive one, I'll be posting a complaint everywhere you frequent, .........

I have been very patient in this deal and I'm quickly losing just that. I am afriad you are taking my kindness and acceptance for weakness, and I don't appreciate it.

The ball is in your court. If you send me the Fallkniven F1 that is rightfully mine, I will leave well enough alone. If I don't receive a tracking number or a good explanation as to why you haven't shipped the knife by tomorrow, July 2nd at 6pm, I WILL be posting that you have owed me a knife for almost a month now and haven't owned up.

Regards,
Cole

This is my last resort. All I want is the Fallkniven F1 that is owed to me.

Cole

I hope this ends well for you, the F1 is a really nice knife, my favorite.

Communication, communication, communication can be the difference between a good deal and a deal gone south. BUT, if you say you are going to do something and then fail to do what you said you would, you have begun the process towards becoming totally unreliable and a big risk to deal with. Immediate action may save you from a bad rep here on BFC.

"You are only as good as your word"

His last visit to the forums was July 2.Hopefully he does the right thing and contacts you.I hate to read stuff like this, very sad members are doing this stuff to other members more lately.Good Luck

I received a message from Graham on Thursday night stating he was sorry and he is shipping the knife.

I will keep everyone updated.

It's now the 7th, and still no Fallkniven.

If I shows, I will be very surprised. But if it doesn, I will let everyone know.

The "I'll ship routine";

I'll ship right now................I forgot to put package in my car. UPS center is 1000 miles away
I'll ship Monday...................nope
I'll ship Weds.....................sorry about Monday, got tied up
I'll ship on the third..............no knife 9th Sorry, I had to go out of town
I am shipping it overnight..............Sorry, my wife was to do it and she forgot and the UPS center is 25 miles away (huh?)
I will ship it priority.......................You get zippo and UPS tracking number is entered but no package is with it.

This is the kind of guy we should all deal with...................not

Nope, still no knife.

Can we get any help from the MOD's here? If the guy is screwing someone over, he should be banned from the site.

Does anyone disagree with this, or is he going to get to continue doing this to others????

He parked his vehicle at the mall, inside was the knife wrapped up and ready to ship. All of a sudden Artsig and his sidekick TTO appeared holding knves stolen from people here on BFC and they ripped Gbuck off.
Gbuck was sliced in the bicep, shot in the groin and left for dead. 9 days later he awoke to discover his vehicle stripped and parked on blocks in Silver Springs, Maryland, or Arizona, or Montana.
I bet Gbuck is going to pay you double plus 20% interest!!!!

anyway sorry to hear it Cole, hope it ends well..

Still no knife.

Is there nothing the MOD's will do about this?
If anything BAN him or something. I can't see how this guy is allowed to continue to roam this forum without and consequences.

He logged in a few hours after this thread was created. I have since sent him messages and emails with NO response.

There once was a member with the name of buck
A ruined reputation and he don't give a f**k
He's a lyin thief, a full-fledged scammer
I hope his butt ends up in the slammer
He is no collector, he broke the cardinal rule
If you scam a knifeknut you're just a pustule
He makes promises to ship, what an infected smegma
Soon his wife will appear, I know he will beg her
She'll say he got hurt, was in a terrible crash
His vehicle exploded, it's nothing but trash
The knife of course was destroyed in the fire
What did you expect, she's the wife of a liar
Another empty promise your knife he'll return
With all this lying in haides he'll burn
make no mistake we'll all remember his name
when it sits atop the hall of shame!!!!

What, exactly would you like us to do?

In reality, there isn't anything we can do, other than ban him.

I am hesitant to do that, because that cuts off his ability to respond to the thread and answer visitor messages.

You have already posted here, warning the other members of his shenanigans.

Not much else can be done.

I understand. I recommend banning him. He has other ways of contacting me via other forums and personal email.

Can you just restrict him to the GB&U forum? Then he can't post or read any other threads except here.

I would go visit him but carrying a 2X4 in Mass. is a Felony............

I could take a Sig, but I am not the one scammed.:p

Call the Police there and see if they can help. It is a big Department and maybe they have a Detective assigned to internet crimes who just might be a knifeknut (or you can make him one with a gift:D) and willing to help.

If the understanding was that either side of the transaction involved delivery by USPS, consider filing Mail Fraud charges with your nearest Postal Inspector. Who knows; he may enjoy a more controlled life.

gbuck8825, a mans word is his bond. Dont be a weasel dude, send the man HIS knife. Its just a sharp piece of steel, is it really worth it?
