Bad experiences with BladeGoblin

The honesty, integrity and credibility ratio increased dramatically the second bladegoblin was banned.

I wonder what his next forum name will be? Maybe Miss asshat ballsack

Apparently, Rampage Williams was his next name. I knew this POS had to be a returning troll of some sort, and he turned out to be a thief as well.

Good riddance, and a big *thanks* to whoever this mystery sleuth is that tracked him down.

Hello,
I have done business with both of these men. Neither is a crook. Shipping to Russia is a pain. When I did my deal with kristopher_robin, I informed him of the way I was going to ship and that he was responsible for paying the shipping. He understood that I was getting insurance and he was paying for it. The package took over a month to arrive IIRC but it did get there.

BladeGoblin was a little careless with shipping. When you ship to a place like Russia, you have to work out the details BEFORE you seal the deal. I will still ship to Russia but I make sure the buyer knows the deal and will accept the risk. If he won't accept the risk in writing, I don't ship. I am honest but I am not going to pay for a lost knife if I can help it. Even getting insurance is not 100% reliable.

your knife is most likey now in the hands of russian customs they liked it and will keep it. they are a black hole. the shipper should have insured the knife then no party loses. russian customs is famous for this. i suggest sending insured by DHL or FEDEX never the USPS. it will cost more but you have an 'out' if needed

my post office told me that they cannot provide tracking numbers for overseas packages, that once it leaves he US, it cannot be tracked. the exception would be air packages, very expensive.

i am sorry to say this but i have to put my 2 cents in here. my mom sent me some med's i need and use. she paid 27 bucks to send it with tracking and all that mess. it was not the costs of the med's but it was i needed it. the USPS said 3 to 5 days. i waited 2 weeks. then i drove to the local post office out of country and the package was there waiting since no one can read english. they showed me a few packages that could not be delivered and asked me which was mine. i said this one is mine that one goes to the guy up the street about 100 yards. do you want me take it to him. they said they will do that.

as for tracking numbers from the USPS when its out of the usa forget it. other countries don't honor the USPS tracking numbers. next time it was raining and i was to get a package so i just called them expecting them to remember me. they said my package had not arrived. i waited 3 weeks then drove there. they tracked it and found it in transit back to the USA and my mom. they tried to stop it but it did not happen. so i lost a month of med's and USPS express international shipping charges.

when it was returned i had it shipped DHL and it took 5 days. when it has to be there send it private carried do not use the USPS.

i went to the west coast about 3 weeks ago. on the trip to the airport i forgot my cell phone. i called mom and told her mail it to me overnight express to the hotel. they have a service that is 24 hour delivery or so. if its sent by 11am it will arrive at or before 3pm the next day. the hotel was open 24\7 with someone at the desk 24\7. the cell phone did not get delivered they posted a note on the door of the hotel and told them hotel staff to go to the post office to get it. i called the hotel and no one knew what happened to my cell phone.

i called each day for 3 days to see where my cell phone was. no luck.

when i return to my house on the east coast i checked the internet and tracked it. it was at the post office on the west coast. they said they will return it to me after non delivery in 5 days no way to get it back faster. well now i am back to the west coast for another trip and the phone does not come till i am back on the west coast and my cell phone is on the east coast. so i was without my phone for 2 weeks.

When I returned to the east coast i went to the post office and i told them i wanted my money back they did not deliver as requested. they told me to screw my self in softer language. i was loaded for bear. without any bad words i said the hotel was open 24\7 how can you not find someone to give it to? why do you need to post a note on the door of an open hotel? they said they are this post office and not that post office. i said you are all in the same game and this office and that office is the same you both wear the uniform of the USPS so you are responsible for their actions. this did not sit well with the post master.

i then told them if i had sent it FEDEX or UPS they would have found a way to deliver it. I said the union for the USPS is a joke. This organization should be closed. I was told to leave the office and not talk this way in the USPS. I was careful not to use bad language but FEDEX and UPS must be curse words to them.

I did not get my money back. i was not happy. If FEDEX or USPS had accepted my package they will take care of the customer. I hate the USPS this is not the first time I have had this problem.

So what do we learn from this?

1. the federal gov can not run a efficient business organization. leave that to private companies. we waste tax dollars on stupid people at the post office. they can not be fired they do not need to do their duties.

Just look at the guys that work for UPS they run from one place to the other. they eat at 3pm and work till 6pm. not the same as our gov workers at the USPS they just :jerkit:

2. for the past 11 years i have about 4% of all packages shipped with the USPS not delivered or lost. in the same time i have not had a single one lost with UPS or FEDEX. they cost more and i have to drive to their office but when you have to have it delivered do not use the USPS.

Everything looks different from the inside and from the outside. Frankly, it seems to me, you don't like USPS, fine -- don't use it. But I think you may be using it wrong.

Anyway, USPS is not a government agency. It is an independently operating authority. Workers who don't get the job done can be removed from their assignments or fired. I should know. I threw a few out in my time in postal management.

By the way, USPS is funded by customers buying stamps and other services, not by tax money.

Not yet...

At a meeting of House and Senate Appropriations Committee negotiators Thursday morning, the Postal Service language was incorporated into a stop-gap continuing resolution, or CR, that Congress must enact in the next week to keep the full government operations. As adopted, the postal agency, which now faces a liability of $5.4 billion due Sept. 30, would have to pay only $1.4 billion and would be allowed to effectively defer the remaining $4 billion until after 2017.

“That’s good news” said a Postal Service spokesman, who argued the arrangement posed no risk for the taxpayer since the retirement fund holds $32 billion at this time. Nonetheless, critics argued the $4 billion will now be added as a potential cost on the government’s books given the fragile state of the Postal Service, and the whole handling of the issue is seen by many as a parliamentary sleight-of-hand.
