I'm with you, not enough $ or patience to send to someone else to re-profile it for me - just did it myself - a lot more fun that way anyhow :thumbup:

I'd say the cutting efficiency has doubled on my Game Warden that I re did.

I put my primary grind at 15, and a microbevel at 20. Works great!

Agreed. I'll even go farther - I have had very, very few knives, period, that I haven't re-profiled. Thin is the way to go!
 
Good review, I, too, like the BADS, all I need is a pumpkin which I will pick up at Blade Show West, and a Black micarta one then I am set....

Almost certain the AD I had was 30 degrees. I used a Lansky and that is what matched up.

I agree the AD I had was an excellent knife and VERY comfortable....though I found the blade stock too thick and would have preferred a thinner stock model. I would like to try a thin stock Game Warden in the future....I think that would be the perfect knife for what I want(production made anyways:D)

That's surprising, where did you hear that the BAD has higher hardness than other Busse models?

The Busse web site. They brought the hardness up from 57 - 59 (or whatever is standard for INFI) to 60 - 62.

Argh... Theonew snuck in ahead of me.... :D
