If I kick him off the plank, rio gets nothing. It would not do him any favors. The finality of a permanent ban is just that.
Keep me informed.
Might want to press it still. It took rio threatening to call his place of employment and local PD to get him to communicate...
Not exactly someone you want to have around IMO.

Yes sh00ter, because you have all of the facts you must be right.
Does anyone else find it strange that so many times when someone does this stuff, there's always some big deal with a very sick family member, or they've been in a bad car accident, or some other pressing emergency. I mean it's a bit strange everything is always great when they make the deal, but invariably their entire world falls apart just when the person is trying to recover their money from them.![]()

I don't think it's that they are bad people, who are just using fake excuses to explain their inaction. I think that these excuses ARE the cause of their inaction, and when a deal goes south, the culprit often IS a family tragedy, or medical problem. For the most part, deals do go smoothly, and no excuse/explanation is needed. When deals go badly, and an excuse IS used, it's probably because that's what actually happened.
Please report this post if it's too optimistic.
Back in India, the house maids kill their relatives randomly when they fail to turn up for work. Playing with emotions is the best way for a scammer to make you feel guilty/sorry for him - what better than a sick or dead grandpa?
And yes, until you send the money all is well and it's a lovely spring. Then he'll breaks loose...
