Yeah...Us Maine guys are often known to keep wearing pants all through the summer (keeps the ticks off!) so I'm pretty sure if you saw one of our legs on a sunny day you'd be blinded by the sun reflecting off of them! I've seen chalk that looked tan compared to us.

It's handy having a signal mirror with you at all times though.
