The simple, parallel lines that make up the venerable BAR SHIELD are classic in the knife world. You would think that something so simple as a rectangle piece of shiney steel, stuck in the middle of a perfectly good knife handle, would clash with the purposeful, flowing, aesthetically pleasing features of the common traditional knife. But for some reason, most often than not, the bar shield adds to the beauty of an already beautiful thing. Whut'supwitdat!
Anyway, enough of the waxing philosophically. Show us your knives with BAR SHIELDS and you will see what I been talkin 'bout
Here's a quick few to start the ball rolling...
An I-XL Rooster Comb...a curvey knife and a straight shield...I guess it works.
A Cattaraugus Pen...seems to just call for a bar shield.
A Holley Pen...the ebony w/bar shield makes this knife pop!
And the Case/Bose Lockback Whittler(image by JpN)
