nice background archer.

this hobby continues to evolve for me. and that is why i started this thread. i have loved seeing all the knives that you guys have. i have found some that i really dig. and that is the part that is fun for me. i am not much of what i would consider a "collector" (rriiiight ). the part i really enjoy is to see these knives, do a bit of research on them, and then see if i can hunt them down and check them out...ultimately to determine if i would ever carry and use them.

with that said, the ones that are what i would call "keepers" of mine are the 42 and the 72 that i called my EDC. here is another one (i realize i am breaking my own rules, as this is maroon micarta). GEC 99 F&F....

Does a shadow pattern count as "barehead"? If so, I submit this chestnut jigged bone Sodbuster Jr

^^love this one too!

reviving this thread. i'm always looking for GEC 72's and 42's in jigged bone and was excited when i found one a couple weeks ago on the bay. it just arrived. i don't like the forced patina on it, but still glad i found it.

oh wow? what is it? couldn't quite make it out....

Thanks for the compliment. It's a Goe. Wostenholm/Sheffield pc I bought new about 50 years ago. I'll try to get a better pic and post it soon.
