Posting pictures of a Cargill or Creek after Greg has already done so is a little like parking a Volkswagen Beetle next to a Corvette (or me standing shirtless next to Arnold Schwarzenegger, if you like that sort of mental image, and if you do don't tell me :barf: ), but here’s an older Cargill barlow club knife. It's a little hard to tell from this angle, but it has killer popcorn stag.

Mike,
Boy don't I know that same feeling all too often here. Greg has invested lots of hard work into his collection and has perfected his photographic skills to bring it all home hasn't he?!!. This here is a better place because of it IMO.

On the other hand this knife of yours as absolutely superlative!. I only have a few Cargill / Creeks in my collection that even approach that class of gnarly stag. Absolutely first class!

Here is a Big Daddy barlow for you all. Stag Cripple Creek.

Hey Sunny. while i have you here, I have a question for you. I thought i saw that you were selling some of your C.C.'s on Ebay. Just wondering which Ones you were planning on selling? I would be interested in some of them. Even though i could only afford one mayyyyyybe two.

Until next time

Shane,
Thank you for your interest, however, you should email me about these as I do not want to break any of Sparks rules regarding spamming here at our favorite playground/community. Go to PM and send me a quick message and I will send you my direct email and we will chat.

So that's what happened to my Colonial Barlow! Please send it (and any other "found" beauties) to: Kevin's Knife Collection, 112 Broadway...

No Sweat Kevin. Its nearly on its way to you, but now wait, I did not find any cigar buts there at all, just old dried up Motor Oil flavor ' Culprit' brand plastic worms. Hey, just name the lake and approximate area and year and its in the mail to ya old buddy ole pal..

Great pics, guys, but I scanned pretty close and don't believe that I saw a Sears Craftsman in the bunch. Anybody have any of them? Gave mine to my dad and he carried it for the rest of his life.

Hey all. I just want to apologize. Wasn't trying to sell Sunnyd's knives for him. Hope i didn't break the rules too bad. Any way here are a couple of blood brothers knives. I think that mcgreg already posted a pic of one of them. but its the only barlows i have left.

Apaloosa dyed bone; If I recall these are 1-dots (1979). It's a smooth bone, and the handles vary from light to dark. Some had lots of brown, and some very little.
Pretty nice looking IMO, but I suspect they didn't sell all that well.

Nice collections Tony and Greg, and thanks everyone for contributing!! I was away for 3 days, and the first thing I do is go to this thread! Obessed or what??

Here's my latest addition on the Barlow front. It arrived today from my friend who is the company historian. He purchased it on an auction website on my behalf and after it passed muster sent it my way.

He described it as an early 1930's "spear point clip", pattern #65 and stated that that pattern is the "benchmark" Russell Barlow.

Well, I just got a real nice little AG Russell Barlow from our favorite goofy doofus, so I thought I'd share a coupla' pics of it.

It's 1095 high carbon steel with very warm olive wood scales. 3 & 3/8" closed. A great pocket knife, and my 1st Barlow. Thanks Rob. :)

It is without a doubt a fine example of the timeless Barlow pattern,, nice score from that Goofy Doofus..:D

Don't have many Bokers, but couldn't resist this one. Just got it from an ebay seller, it's a U.S. made one, with great snap and half stops. The pin shows on one side, but I am convinced it's original. Everything matches perfectly. It has a stamped bolster I've never seen before, and one of the great things about Barlows is the showy stamps. I think of them as a "workin' man's pride"; something special for a simple knife.

I've had 3 Barlows in my life, all of which I've sold, traded or given away.

I had a Schrade Scrimshaw with a pheasant on it, a Boker One Arm Razor Barlow and an Imperial Barlow from Ireland still in the clamshell package.

Maybe if I could lay my hands on a Scagal Repro or a Russell Repro I'd be more inclined to carry one.:D
