Battle Grade SFNO and Battle Grade AMS

Wow!!! Anyone who didn't grab a Battle Grade Active Duty should jump on that AMS,,,, such a comfortable knife,, and in SR101 will be an outstanding performer

Yep. In all the excitement over the BGSFNO, let's not sweep the BGAMS under the rug. If it has the same specs as the INFI version of the AMS and it's priced right, it's going to be an absolutely outstanding companion blade for any of the big Busse offerings. Here are the INFI AMS specs for reference:

Blade Length: 3 1/2"
Blade Width: 1"
Blade Thickness: .155"
Overall Length: 8 1/4"
Grind: Full Height Flat
Steel: INFI
Hardness: 58-60Rc

Hmm, I think I might get away with passing on this one. Thanks for the pic duramax, that really helps with the decision making, as the angled pic that came with the email makes the SFNO look longer than your pic does. Already got plenty in that length (or got them on the way). The AMS mght be a struggle though depending on price. :)

I need another fixed-blade I can't carry like I need a hole in the head. But if the BGAMS comes in with the same specs as the AMS and it's priced low enough, I may not be able to resist it. I'll just throw it in my BoB next to my Camp Tramp and call it day. :)

Glad it helped out, I tried to line those up off the forward of the handle by talon hole. SFNO is one of my favorites and was the one knife that made me search out Busse knives, so this is a problem for me lol :-)
 
Dang. I've been saving up for a chopper but the AMS in some edgy carbon steel sounds like to good of a hunting knife to pass up.
 
Would be cool if they did what Scrap Yard did; buy both knives and get a little discount

Geeez. I cannot keep buying random things in the Exchange if all this good stuff is gonna keep rolling in. At least it'll hit the credit card when I least expect it to. I'm sure I'll be in for at least one SFNO.
 
They keep this up much longer, I'm going to have to start selling neighborhood kids on eBay to fund my purchases.
 
250ish judging from the last few, if its the plain SFNO i'm safe, if its the NMSFNO I'm hosed. Really like the longer blade.
 
Can anyone show a SFNF next to an ASH? They seem quite similar to me, with only a slight difference in the top line but perhaps that because I've not seen them in person or in relation to each other.

Thanks for the idea! Much better than my current Busse fund scheme of taking neighborhood kids to the local blood bank...;-)
 
The shop needs to release more Infi already. Although both of these are really badass.

.... this will definitely be the shorter variety, I am guessing it should also be ball park around the same price as the BG ASH1...it will be hard to resist for me....
