Battle LA and ESEE

What annoys me is that it is my home that is the frontline here.

I'd have marine snipers on the roof of the old GTE building (100 Wilshire 90401) as soon as those overgrown grasshoppers hit the atmosphere. What would be ace though is if we had some plucky boy scouts re-use the cannons from the Spanish American war on the bluff by the pier to stop the bad guys.

That would get me to buy the damn 3D glasses.

Independence day was such a HUGE disappointment. "Cheesy" does not come CLOSE to how horrible it was.
Michelle Ropdriguez is a cutie, but thats hollywood for ya. Have you seen many of the gals in the Army? They are NOT looking buff like she is. :D

Were the knives left unsharpened for the actors? I mean, i doubt that the producers lets actors run around swinging sharp knives, lest they cut some big hollywood stars thumb off.

Maybe they were dulled once they made it to the set?
 
I would love to see a brut army hero chop off some aliens head with a junglas ... What movie is the a sequal too?
