Battletrough 2013 is coming soon. . . . The Baddest Blade In The Land Returns!!!!!!!!

Ok 2 related questions for your conjecture (I know we don't have specs yet)...

1. "This is the LBNMSHBM" I am curious how the LB concept will be applied to this knife... Thinner blade? Skeletonized tang? (which could make this long knife really forward heavy), no blood grove on the picture, or is it just swedge to lighten the tip that makes it a LB?

2. how do you think this will compare in size, feel and function to the nmfbm? Other than the obvious pommel difference?

From the picture it appears to be 1/4 inch thick, so I am assuming the handles have been lightened up.

Look at that. about a 4 1/2" Swedge :)
I just hope they are priced the same as the Originals..

BTW..I'll take number 11 of both ;)

Unfortunately no one will be able to purchase these knives, as they are all mine!!!! mmmwwwahahahahahahah!!!!! Let's see how you handle that Earth, with your magnetic poles and your gravity. :D

Ditto. Great looking blade, but if it has the LB treatment under the grips I'll likely pass.

I don't think Jerry would do that to a classic design. At least I hope not.

How come guys? Is it a feel thing. I know I like the girth/weight for some big knives to be there, especially when chopping. But after holding the TGLB, I kinda get the whole lightening thing.

Yeah, I can't really see any disadvantages to the LB treatment other than additional cost. I was a huge fan of how fast in the hand the TGLB was when I had one, this should be awesome on the new SHBM.....

My initial thought was the same a mach 5's... If the LB treatment is done under the grips, I'm afraid the weight will be shifted making it more blade heavy. One of the reasons I love the original 1/300 is because of how fast and alive they feel for a .25" chunk of steel.

My God Man....that could quite possibly override the Coriolis Effect of the Earth.....:D

There's only one solution. Half with you, half with me. Should keep the planet in one piece! Now, here's the plan...

What is the ETA for this event? In days? Weeks? Or month from now?

Since I'm a newb I need a clue on how these things work. Help a newb out :)

Will Busse offer a version without skeletonized tang?
Heavier tang definitely is helpful for weight balance.
