We had a couple puppies abandoned here in town. Sisters 4-6 weeks old. Cute little buggers. Border Terriers near as I can tell. Not supposed to get too big. I shouldn't have looked but they are so gosh durn cute I got weak and showed pictures to the wife and son who of course thought it was a fine idea to bring one or two home.

Almost adopted both after the owners weren't located but a detective here took one and I took the other.
Anybody that could abandon these two cuties should be hung and quartered. Downright uncivil.

Guess I'm no longer dog less once again.

I'll post a picture in a bit when I get home. Gotta see if I can wrangle it into the van with out escaping.

A terrier.

Perhaps when she grows up you can cross her with a Tibetan Mastiff. The result should be something like your Bawanna Bowie.

Good for you, dogs bring us happiness, and life to our lives.

The little bugger is darn tough to get a picture of. Won't set still and usually going away. Here's the best I could do so far.

I think we're gonna get along just fine. Seems like a good dog. Gotta think up a name.

Don't know who to congratulate - you or the pup. Looks like you both got lucky.

hi Bawanna,
as soon as i saw new puppy i was on it lol. i got real excited too. thankfully i was rewarded with great photos of ur little critter.
please wait to let the pup name him/herself lol. i hate it when parents/owners name their children and animals a name that truly doesn't suit the named one.

thanks so much for sharing your new family member. so as a gift to you i recommend this book " The Art of raising a puppy " by the monks of new skeete http://www.newskete.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=43&cat=Dog+Books . cheaper price is online elsewhere is u look. It's the best puppy book ever written period. take care and thanks again. noiw i'm going to look at ur sweetie some more!:D

Hey Bawanna! I think shes old enough now you could teach her to checker your furniture! They learn these kind of skills very fast at this age!

Well she certainly has the teeth for it. She's in that biting / chewing puppy stage. We survived the first night nicely. I think she slept with my son. At O dark thirty this morning my adoring wife tossed it in bed with me where it immediately tried to lick my face off. When she figured out that wasn't working she worked at trying to bite my face off.
I feel kind of bad that she has to spend about half of today in a doggie prison cage at home. I probably should have brought her to work. The violets here love her and they are always out letting her out and playing with her.
Might do that next week when wife works full days. She's at home all day tomorrow so that'll be better.

Everybody loves her. Seems to have a great personality and we managed to wear her down. By evening she was asleep laying next to the wife on the couch. I think she's a winner.

I'm following knife dragons advise and holding off on a name. It'll come when the time is right. And I'm gonna look for that book. Want to try and do this one right. Had a lot of dogs, had good luck with all except a Collie. Spent more time looking for that thing that anything else. Give it a half second and it would run off for days.

Mostly cloudy today with 100% chance of an arse whuppin when Mom gets home! Hope your enjoying your new pup Bawanna?

She's very clingy. Just has to have somebody messing with her or she whines. We have to work in shifts.
Worse than a new baby, it not only whines it follows you around and whines.

In a good way. She's definitely the center of attention around here. And still cuter than cute.

Thats too cool man! Glad for ya! They are definitely humorous to watch. My terrier sqeaks and whines at everything and hes 14 years old. Guess they never get over it. And boy is he jealous of everything!

cute little puppy.

looks just like an irish wolfhound terrier puppy.
