Bawanna gets a new puppy

Glad to hear the dog found a loving home

Yeah I think so. His is, mine sure isn't. I hope. We already got two horses, well maybe only one, might have one sold, don't have room for another.

aaah Poppy!

A taller dog might be a plus. I wouldn't have to bend over so much to pet her I guess. This one really likes to be in your lap. Like to get my in house power chair working. Be easier to move around with a dog in my lap. With my manual it's like rowing a boat with one oar ya know?

Heck with the Irish wolfhound you just hitch them up like a clydsdale and let them pull you around the house :D
Instant over-powered chair. But make sure you have a quick release, you do NOT want to be attached to that thing if it decides to go chase a car or cat or other ca word LOL.

Its nice to have a dog whose head comes readily to hand! My friend said he wanted a Shar Pei so it could sit at his feet and he could pull its skin up into his lap and pat it without having to have the whole dog sit in his lap :p

Now there's a plan right there. Definitely one dog with enough skin for 5 other dogs.

Poppy likes my dual motored recliner. she can sit & look out the window into 'her' garden, ever vigilant for invading puddy-tats or pigeons. (she hasn't seen the fox yet)

being a good girl, she gets up if i want to sit there. she is also just the right height (27" at the hips) to stand by the arm and get me to scritch her butt between her tail & hips. she gets orgasmic if you do that. same with ear scritcheys.sadly, she will not jump into my lap there, yet.

It is good to see Poppy is doing so well. When I first found this forum, I believe Poppy had just recently acquired you and your family. Soon we will be looking back at Daisy and remembering when she adopted Bawanna and his family too. Making me start thinking it might be time to be more proactive about helping our next dog find us. Just a couple more things to clear up and it would be a perfect time for it to happen. Of course that generally means it isn't time yet LOL. Usually when it is the worst absolute time in your opinion is when the right dog comes along. :D

I can certainly attest to that. On the bright side if times are really bad we can share food. Her's, not ours.
