BCCI New Website

Yes, I used the new link posted above ^. I log in, it takes it and gives me the home page with 5 additional tabs. membership, about us, shop, contact, ect.. It says I'm logged in. I cannot get to the chat room, Chuck Buck's Tribute, model history, ect.. I'll keep waiting patiently. DM

If you are logged in and the caption color turns green, then you are there. Some of the captions are not working yet, they have not been set up. I did go to chat room and it worked for me.

Unless you changed the email address you first put in long ago like me, you should get an email back. Its only been a couple of days but water has gone under the bridge. I seems I used my old PW and name to get to the point I could reset my password. I think I got green page with old PW,Name. I think I changed my PW because I wanted to, but so many manipulations have happened with that business, not sure if I am coming or going. As I said to David only a couple of the tabs are working anyway and the only new chat info was Tim telling everyone to come to the BCCI facebook page.

I talked to Tim Lindsey and he is going to talk to John. He is also working on the BCCI facebook page. To inform all people the facebook page is open to BCCI members and non-member alike. The hope was gain people as members if they come to the page and like the club. The BCCI web home page is visible to be goggled by the public but you must be a member to go further. This stuff is old tech for some of you but we all still associate here with folks who are just barely tech.(Me) We sort of got going on the facebook and web business in a hurry and without it being 100 % perfect. The goal is to have a facebook site for folks that like facebook activity and a web site that is more friendly than the old site (not real friendly today is it) and provides more things that are useful to members. The person who developed what we have so far will be back next week and will see about all these problems and get some of the stuff that is not yet populated ( I learned that listening to computer people talk) and working.

Rained a inch here today, rivers are still bank full and I swear it is 90 degrees with 80% humidity......lawn mowing is like working in a sauna....but it only snowed twice and only got down to 10 degrees for two days.

We'll take all of that rain if you could send it. 10* at your house feels colder than 5* at mine. Hope your garden is coming along. DM
 
Hi, yes you contact me ,lindseytim488@gmail.com .As of right now I cannot edit member details . But I can get ahold of John Foresman and and maybe the web master and see what we can do to help get ppl on. Its a new web site and will have a few bugs Please bare with us I will do what I can !!! We do have a facebook group page now it is BCCI/TheBuckCollectorsClub on facebook
 
I have been in contact with John, Lets see if this helps. this is what he told me to tell people.

If someone is having trouble the should do a contact form. When I receive that, I can take care of any issues.

IF you are a club member and if you are unable to sign in OR when you do sign in, the members only tab only has only one or two offered choices, do what Tim instructed. Use the contact tab to notify John that you are having issues and explain the issue. He had to tweak my set-up as well and now I get the full menu of offerings. Thanks for patience as we get the new website running smoothly.

I joined yesterday and the website works fine on my iPad. But I can't seem to find my membership number. It is blank in my profile.
 
I appreciate all the hard work that everyone did. I like the site. I did not see a chat option, but would like it.

I'm out of town and only using my phone. I also can't open the site. Only get an error message. That is odd as I have been able to log on with my phone at home?

I used the "Contact" page on the site, but I'm guessing that didn't work.

I sent John Foresman an email yesterday telling him about the problem I was having and he has the site working for me now.

I see now I should have sent the email from the beginning since it seems it was something that had to be reset on the webpage.

Glad to have access to the BCCI website again. :)
 
Anyone who is a member of BCCI and is having trouble going past the home page into the members only area, send a email to club president John Foresman at BUCKCUSTOM@aol.com. And tell him of your efforts and problems.

Craig is dead-on. Some members need an adjustment to their individual club record in the system. I was one of them and there have been several more. John can fix it but only if he knows about it. It does not just "show-up" in a way that he can tell without notification from the club member.
 
I just stumbled upon this thread and checked out the new site. Looks great! :thumbup:
