Update on my shoulder, the doc gave me a sling and no meds, I gotta wait 2 weeks to see him now. After reading about shoulder pain, I figured I have an AC tear stage 2 or 3. The pain is almost gone just really sore at the joint.
 
Ugh, sorry bro...figured you'd get at least a steroid shot or something if you have a tear. Must be very minor or just pulled. Hell, they gave me prednizone for my hip just going to the urgent care because I was tired of it irritating me. Think I had pulled it about a week before crawling in a tight attic. Same for when I popped a rib out of its cartilage honking down on a big ass pipe wrench, went a few days later, but it was really bothersome heh. Well, good luck and all, gotta hate being one handed when both are your moneymakers.
 
It's an awesome day out today. I hate that I'm wasting it inside at work when it'll be dark right after I get home.

Glad to hear that the pain is almost gone, but that still sucks.
 
Just got back from the park on this absolutely goahgeous NH Election Day. New Boker Urban Trapper came yesterday.....sweet little knife. Figured I'd try my hand at some acorn gremlins.

Sorry to hear about the shoulder, JD. I got out of my work truck last night and it felt like someone worked over my right hip with a 16 oz. ball pein.....don't know WTF is going on. No reason I can think of that it should be so sore, like I was working out or something. Ah, the joys of aging.
 
Nice job Mike. Yall make me wanna give it a go. I'll collect some good acorns... But I have to wait until the burn blisters on my hand heal before I try it. Just starting to be able to close my right hand. Good times ahead lmao

I know :D... It isn't so obvious 'cause my nickname on insta is totally unrelated to the one over here (for those who are interested : @jeeveebee). There are quite a few Beckerheads on there that I follow and whose pics I enjoy. I think there's you, Murph, Dex, 710, bsmith and quite a few others. Showed my buddy this when I was a kid, he decided to give it a whirl. I was going to put it out with a pillow but the moment it lit up, he went running down the hall screaming and dripping alcohol on the carpet setting it ablaze. I ran behind him snuffing out the carpet fires where I found him in the bathroom hand under running water. Burned the crap out of his hand. A few days later his dad saw his hand.. his dad said his hands apparently were not tough enough and as punishment made him cut out thistle, thorns, and shrubs out of the fence line for a weekend without gloves. SOB never ratted me out, just showed me his bloody, torn, blistered, and burnt hand the next school day. His dad's nickname? Wild Bill lol. Some kids got it easy!

Lots of alcohol being consumed.... People want fire.... Everything wet... Empty cases of beer dry..... 3m Adhesive spray flammable..... Glue got on hand.. hand on fire... And that pretty much explains it.

Not one of my finer moments....

Here is a pics i just took of the worst finger. Looks a lot better than a few days ago. This is after draining most of the fluid out the big blisters. All the other fingers have some burns as well, just smaller. could of been much worse....

Okay... I really hope I don't regret this but I totally just posted this tutorial on how to pee in the woods on YouTube. Feedback appreciated! I'm having a hard time figuring out the sound. TMI warning and stuff.

Burns suck something fierce. Worst pain I ever felt was when I was dumb enough to try to go swimming in a chlorinated pool with a third degree burn; actually knocked me unconscious and I almost drowned.

Cap, was there any particular kind of feedback you were looking for?
 
Damn, WW.....I think yer takin' yer sig line a little too serious-like....y'know, the part about "make bad ideas into terrible realities".....

that looks fugly, brother. I bet you're not likely to try that again, though. Man, that hurts to just look at.
