• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

Bear Grylls is a Fake

I think he's a complete yahoo..but a yahoo pretending to survive is cooler than a yahoo.pretending to be americas top model...Les is the man.

So it didn't exist until then, 'eh? ;)
And the "eh" thing is mostly an Ontario thing i think.
I've hardly ever heard that used around here in Atlantic Canada.
I've also heard Ontarians say youse as in "youse guys" whereas many atlantic Canadians say "ye guys".
Or in Newfoundland fastspeak we might greet someone with
Whadda-ya-at?
One of my friends in ontario had a hot east-Indian girlfriend. He was always trying to teach here Nfld fastspeak/colloquialisms.
She really tried but the best she could manage was
"hello, what is it that you are at?"
:D

Shotgunner11, you could not be more right!

The metric system in Canada is one of the things I will never forgive Pierre Trudeau for.

Better for me! Also lends itself to better understanding with my American brethren!
