Bear Grylls new knife is a................

I have both the LMF II and the Prodigy. I like them both, although I like to carry the Prodigy more the LMF, a little easier to carry and the Prodigy sheath doesn't scream "tacticool" so much. Blades seem to be about the same in my use, which hasn't been extensive nor extreme. The serrations are a plus for me, I like them on my working blades; if I need to slice something in the kitchen, I have kitchen knives for that.

Of course, since spending time here on BF, I've graduated to my ESSE-4/RC-4 and Scrapyard Dumpster Mutt, so the poor Gerbers are either in the truck or in my pack as backups.

I've got 6 or 7 gerber folders, and they all work fine.
I don't have a fix blade but I may give one a try.
Every year I get a gerber folder from my daughters for Christmas and they all get used

The prodigy is a love/hate deal with me-by far ergonomics and practicality wise one of my favorite blades. It's also the most poorly manufactured knife that I own, the steel quality just sucks. The edge looks like a saw at this point, the edge has chipped so many times... you can't touch the thing to paper without getting some sort of fracture in the edge...
