Run, walk, or crawl...
The idea is to get outside and move. 50 miles between November 15 and December 15. Pictures welcome.
Successful members will get an official Becker "attaboy" or "attagirl" (that's you, Murph) and the satisfaction of self-mobilizing for fifty miles.
Who's in?

I'm a long time lurker here in the Becker forums and about time to chime in... count me in! I just had surgery a couple of weeks ago on my ankle and now that I'm in a walking boot it's time to be mobile again.

11/22-24 and 11/29-12/1 will be some good woods miles that hopefully put a couple deer in the freezer.

Just a heads up if you have a smart phone... there are many good apps out there which will track mileage and map your routes.
I tend to use Everytrail for hikes and for paddles. For runs, I've been using Runkeeper.
Feel free to post up about your software choices. Might be interesting to see what folks are using.

Do they have to be outside? I do about 2 miles in the morning 6 days a week.. but on a treadmill.

They count if you'll close your eyes and imagine leaves and waterfalls. :D
Seriously, some of my miles will be on pavement. The scenery won't exactly be picture worthy.

I'll see about devising a Certificate of Achievement and emailing it to all the successful mobilizers. Maybe I can rip Ethan's signature off the kitchen knives. :D

Im in, If walking counts then i do this every month. I walk my oldest to school and then after school I jog with her a half mile back home most days too... well except when she wears a dress. then I take a walk late at night, a lot of nights, just to wind down some.

And on days i have a knife being delivered i walk back and forth checking the door a couple thousand times if that counts :D

Back Country Navigator Pro is a great Android app. I've used it for years and the maps and tracking are excellent.
