A good kmife is a good knife even if the name on it is Bear Grylls, Lady Gaga, or PFR. What the parang really needs is a companion backpack loaded with lead shot and sand.

It's a unisex soap opera. They put zombies in it so we could watch without feeling self-conscious. Frankly, zombie ultra-violence should be used to spruce up all sappy shows and movies. Imagine if Madagascar 2 or It's a Wonderful Life had walkers. Much better!

I think Gerber has a lock on the blade props for the most part.
When I saw them open the roll with all those Gerber blades I kinda knew that's about all the major steel I'd get to see on the show.
At least they aren't forging custom variable grind blades from salvaged leaf springs, in a half hour :D

Yeah its weird that all the blades in walking dead are gerbers, except the wifes Spyderco clipped on the OUTSIDE of her pocket. Looks like an Endura or millie.

That's only the second Busse I've seen that I really like the looks of, the first one being a medium sized wharncliffe style knife.

And I've never seen either on their website. :confused:
 
Yeah they are tough to get ahold of. Second hand is pretty much the only way. I also have a busse hell razor that I really like, very light in the hand and useful, a better slicer than I expected. The team gemini though is my current favorite.

Honestly I'm suprised KABAR hasn't tried to get the Zombie Line into the show.....when I saw them undo that roll of Gerbers early this season I screamed 'Product Placement' so loud woke up my dog.

I guess a great plot with realistic and visceral multi-character development is too much for the car chase/big explosion/constant violence crowd.

Easily the best show on tv right now. My wife hates action/zombie type fodder but will watch this show with enthusiasm.

I would like to see someone rocking a machaxe through a few necks though. I will look closer today for the kids knife. They are playing the entire season in a row before the new episode today.
 
I just rewatched that episode and I don't have recording capability, but it looks like a BK 11 with scales actually. It's a real quick shot before he shows the revolver...

i hope his knife is removable and he can hold it so i can set up alittle zombie sticking scene on one of the shelves

and of course... how can you say no to a group of miniature dead squirrels
