Something to bear in mind.... A friend was bitching to another friend that Ballistol was so damn expensive and that friend ran a sample through a a mass spectrometer or gas chromatograph and discovered that it was food grade mineral oil with an additive to make it smell bad....

.Camillus used to protect the factory edge with Vaseline and I use both or either. Johnson’S FLOOR WAX IS GOOD... my current “go to” is Mobil One.... Many competitive shooters are using it and it has worked well for me.....

Ballistol is almost at the bottom of this 46 lube test.
